Branding Refresh

The Endoscopy Sales Training & Development team at Boston Scientific creates hundreds of training assets and courses to educate the field sales organization. Covering a wide range of topics from business acumen to clinical education, the team’s work is highly visible within Boston Scientific.

Over time and for a variety of reasons, the consistency of the team’s brand had deteriorated. I identified this weakness and advocated for a brand refresh.

I held focus group meetings with both team leadership and members to develop a clear vision for the future of the team’s identity. With assistance from one other designer, I led the creation of a new logo, an updated style guide, and a SharePoint resource site for non-designers on the team to use to elevate their work and stay on brand. I also updated many existing assets to reflect the refreshed brand, including email and PowerPoint templates, infographics, interactive PDFs, online learning courses, and more. Since the refresh, I have actively managed brand adherence to ensure a strong, consistent identity for the future.
